Richard Shannon has decided to leave the club to join Intermediate Two front runners Fremington.

Darren Hawkings has signed for the club on a permanent basis from Bideford Town.

25.03.11 - Game versus Bradworthy

The kick-off for tomorrow's North Devon League Premier division fixture against Bradworthy has been brought forward to 12pm.

25.03.11 - Brayford Cup Final

The Brayford Cup Final will be played at Marshford, Appledore on Saturday 7th May, kick-off at 6pm. Our opponents will be Bradworthy.

13.03.11 - Westward Ho! Cup semi-final news

We were given an automatic passage to the Westward Ho! Cup Final today as North Molton were unable to raise a side. We will play the winners of the Bude/Barnstaple AAC tie.

19.02.11 - Cup match fixture update

22.01.11 - Match v Budleigh Salterton postponed

We've had snow, waterlogged pitch and now today's Devon Premier Cup quarter final has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. This match must be played next Saturday meaning that our away fixture against Shamwickshire will have to be rescheduled for a later date. The fixture congestion nightmare continues...

17.01.11 - Congratulations Sharpy!

Congratulations to Scott Sharp and partner Jess who are proud to announce the arrival of a baby boy, Freddie, weighing 7lb 7oz. Well done from everyone at the club!

29.12.10 - Revised fixture list

With the recent postponements of matches against North Molton and Torrington, our 7th and 8th of a disrupted season, we have revised the fixture list. Please note that there are still matches which need to be arranged however, this may prove to be difficult unless an extension to this season is granted.

We have only played one league game since October 17th and eight in total so far this season. As of January 1st we have at least 25 games to play before the end of the season, not including further progression in cup competitions. It's going to be a long, hard run in!

29.12.10 - Devon Premier Cup quarter final travel arrangements

Now things are getting serious in the Devon Premier Cup we have arranged for a coach to take the team and supporters to Budleigh Salterton on Saturday 22nd January. If you would like to join us please make yourself known to anyone at the club.

07.12.10 - Devon Premier Cup quarter final draw

The winners of our Devon Premier Cup 4th round tie versus Exmouth have been drawn away to Peninsula League East side Budleigh Salterton.

07.12.10 - Match v Torrington postponed

This evening's Westward Ho! Cup tie against Torrington has fallen foul to the frost and will be re-arranged for a later date. The postponement is our sixth in a season already disrupted by postponements and poor fixture arrangements.

05.12.10 - Fixture re-arrangements

Due to Saturday's postponement, our 4th round Devon Premier Cup match versus Exmouth Town will take place on Saturday 11th December. The North Devon League fixture against Putford will be re-arranged for a later date.

Our recently postponed league fixture against North Molton has been rescheduled for Saturday 18th December.

And, our Westward Ho! Cup first round tie away to Torrington is scheduled for Tuesday 7th December, 7.30pm kick-off.

11.11.10 - Boca return to the Premier League of Darts

After last year's trip to the greyhound racing in Swindon, for next year's mid-season jaunt we have decided to make another visit to watch the Premier League Darts at the Westpoint Arena in Exeter. See the poster on the Forthcoming Events link for details.

08.11.10 - Devon Premier Cup fourth round draw

We have been drawn at home against South West Peninsula side Exmouth Town 2006 in the fourth round of the Devon Premier Cup. Exmouth were the conquerors of Appledore on penalties in round three so it will be another tough task. The tie will be played at the Tarka Centre on Saturday 4th December, kick-off 2pm.

06.11.10 - Linesman wanted!

06.11.10 - Halwill match re-arranged

Our first round Torridge Cup match versus Halwill has been re-arranged for Sunday 14th November.

06.11.10 - Player award

Our first recipient of the first of this season's special player awards is Simon Ovey, thanks to consistent performances over games throughout October. 'Ovs' received his embroidered Boca bag after Saturday's game at Crediton.

Today's Torridge Cup first round fixture at Halwill has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. Stay tuned for the re-arranged date.

27.10.10 - Fixture re-arranged

Due to our progress in the Devon Premier Cup, our league match versus Appledore Reserves on Saturday 6 November will be re-arranged for a later date. Watch this space for details.

27.10.10 - New signing

We have made another new signing. Goalkeeper Jamie Pow who up until recently was between the sticks at Barnstaple Town has joined to provide competition for Darren Babb. Jamie goes straight into the weekend's squad for the games against Georgeham and Halwill.

21.10.10 - Cup fixtures arranged

Our first round Brayford Cup tie at home to Georgeham & Croyde will take place on Saturday 30 October.

We have also been drawn away to Devon & Exeter Senior side Halwil in the first round of the Torridge Cup. This game will take place on Sunday 31st October, kick off 2pm.

03.10.10 - Holsworthy match

Due to the annual national tennis tournament, next week's Devon Premier Cup 2nd round match versus Holsworthy has been switched to an away fixture.

26.08.10 - More ins and outs

This week we have one player leaving us and another joining. Out goes James Galliford, rejoining previous club Braunton. In comes Sam Stephens, formerly of Appledore and Torrington. Sam goes straight into Saturday's squad for the game at Dolton.

25.08.10 - Match v Torrington postponed

Due to a combination of a waterlogged pitch and a probable lack of light, tonight's game versus Torrington has been postponed.

19.08.10 - Mike Cowell

After four very successful seasons Mike Cowell has decided to return to his home town club Dolton Rangers. Coweller won pretty much every trophy available during his spell at the club and leaves with our best wishes (apart from when we play them obviously). Best of luck Coweller from all your mates at Boca!

15.08.10 - 2010/11 squad update. Old and new faces aplenty!

With the 2010/11 season less than a week away our squad is practically finalised. This year Darren Todd has assembled arguably the strongest squad in club history in an attempt to reclaim the North Devon League Premier Division title. Out go Luke Alcock, Shaun Ley, Jordan Charran, Liam Monsell, Joe Rogers and Daniel Found; in come Scott Sharp, Jack Jenkins, Mark Thorne and Rob Patton from Barnstaple AAC and the legendary trio of Matt Deakin, Richard Shannon and Mark Barrow. Photo updates will follow very shortly.

11.08.10 - Pre-season social update

We have booked a 14-seater mini-bus to pick us up and bring (most of)us home on Saturday. Cost is £6.50 each. See Toddy for details.

29.07.10 - Annual pre-season social

The annual Woolacombe pre-season social has been penned in for Saturday 14th August after the Morwenstow friendly. Usual hi-jinks should ensue (see below). Stay tuned for further details.

29.07.10 - 2010/11 fixtures

Fixtures for the 2010/11 season have now been released. Our first match is a tricky away tie at Georgeham, a team who took five points off us last season! Full fixtures will be added to the site very soon.

27.07.10 - Web site update

With the 2010/11 season just around the corner, we've begun to update the web site. Over the next few days and weeks we'll be adding the usual fixtures, sponsors and other stuff, so stay tuned.
